I take on investigations helping people and families in their homes all over the UK, where residents are experiencing unexplained disturbances and in workplaces or businesses with recurring activity and unusual events. If you are experiencing unusual sounds, unsettling feelings, strange sightings or the fear you are being watched, then I can help you and I treat every case seriously and with compassion and in strict confidence.

What to do if you think your Home is Haunted

Equipment

I have no faith in any of the modern gadgets and apps, these devices are for You Tube, Television, Ghosts walks and are for entertainment value only. I do use a professional a recording device for EVP’s (Electronic Voice Phenomenon), which helps pick up sounds and sometimes voices that maybe missed by the human ear.

Keep a Diary

A good tip is to start keeping a diary of events, i.e. what happened, where (what room), day, date and time. There can be patterns and peck times.

Consultation

I am happy to speak to you via a scheduled phone or video call in strict confidence to discuss your case, I can provide expert advice and determine the next appropriate steps.

Visit

A visit includes an interview to take background related notes and a walk around to gain deeper insights and understand of the environment and aiming to identify potential issues.

Investigation

The investigation is conducted to uncover evidence of the reported activity and suggest the next steps. My investigations are between you the client and myself and whatever paranormal activity is occurring. A lot of hauntings are “Residual” and can be harmless, however occasionally some hauntings can be “Intelligent” and far more complex.

Report of Paranormal Findings

I will write a full report of findings and paranormal activity, this will include type of haunting and how many spirits.

Clearance if required

I do offer a clearance service to move unwanted spirits on to the next place. Just to say its very rare to find spirits that are harmful and a lot of people don’t mind them being there once they know they are safe and residual.

Different types of Hauntings

Listed below are the basics. You can have multiple types of hauntings in the same property and many different issues.

Residual Hauntings

Residual hauntings, also called “Psychic Impressions,” are repetitive, non-interactive loops of past events or emotions, sometimes linked to traumatic or routine lifestyle occurrences and situations.

Intelligent Hauntings

Intelligent hauntings involve conscious, interactive spirits who are aware of their surroundings. They can communicate, respond to questions, create noises or manifest to convey messages. Not all Intelligent hauntings are negative.

Poltergeist Hauntings

The activity that takes place normally starts off with knocks and bangs and typically will increase to furniture moving and can manifesting itself through voices and even the appearance of full apparitions. Knowledge is the key in protecting yourself.

Demonic Hauntings

Demons are evil entities have never had a mortal human form or life and are just energy. Energy can be converted into matter and matter into energy. They are very strong and they don’t mind showing it. Their main goal is to break down a person’s free will in order to make way for possession.

Shadow People / Creatures

This is a type of haunting activity that has no real explanation. They are different from your general ghosts. They are usually shapeless dark masses. Mostly seen with your peripheral vision.

Portal

Portals are thought to be doorways to another world or dimension in which entities travel through. Portal hauntings are controversial as there is very little understood about them.
